Terms of Use

You must be at least 18 years old and a current or recently graduated college student in India to apply. You confirm that the information you provide in your application is accurate.

A FirstShift internship is a flexible-duration, remote, assignment-based program. You are matched to a real registered Indian firm and receive a real brief from that firm. You receive a starter kit and mentor review. It is a learning and portfolio opportunity, not employment. We are not your employer and do not pay you a stipend. The experience letter issued on the firm letterhead states this clearly.

Pricing varies by role category. Each role has its own tier for month 1 and for additional months; current tiers are listed on the apply form and on each track page. Each extra month you choose is billed separately and only with your explicit opt-in; we never auto-charge. You pay us directly via UPI to the ID shown on your application confirmation. We do not process payments on this site and we do not store your card or bank details. Your seat is confirmed when we receive your month 1 payment on WhatsApp. Fees are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

A completion certificate is issued only if your work meets the published rubric bar, at the sole discretion of our reviewer. If your work does not meet the bar after two review rounds, you receive a detailed feedback report instead of a certificate. Each certificate has a unique ID and a public verification URL.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. In summary, we do not offer refunds after payment. See our refund policy.

You retain ownership of the work you submit. You grant us a licence to review it, store it for verification and improvement purposes, and display anonymised excerpts for marketing or educational use. You confirm your submissions are your own original work and do not infringe anyone else rights.

You agree not to misuse the site, submit plagiarised or fraudulent work, impersonate another person, attempt to circumvent payment, or misuse our certificate system. We may refuse or revoke enrollment and certificates for violations.

We do not guarantee employment, placement, or any specific career outcome. What we provide is reviewed work, a certificate, and learning. Any reliance on the program for a job outcome is at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid for the relevant months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

We may update these terms and our program structure. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled participants by email.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, subject to alternative dispute resolution where applicable.
